The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is an agency within the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) who is responsible for promoting and regulating safety throughout the nation’s railroad industry. Drug and alcohol testing is required by the DOT for all safety-sensitive FRA industry employees. FRA drug testing is required for:
