Looking for a National Substance Abuse Professional Network? SRS Can Help!
If you failed a DOT-mandated drug or alcohol test you’ll need to find a national Substance Abuse Professional network, such as SAP Referral Services, to find a qualified DOT SAP in your area. Seeking the services of a qualified SAP in your area is necessary to begin the return to duty process. Not until you successfully complete the return to duty process will you be fit to resume your safety-sensitive tasks.
What to Expect from Your SAP Evaluation Services
A SAP’s job is to protect the public interests in safety matters. Thus, they do not have any bias towards the employers nor the employees. When you meet with your SAP they will perform a face-to-face substance abuse evaluation. After your initial evaluation your SAP will recommend necessary education and/or treatment programs. Following your SAPs recommendations for education and/or treatment is mandatory so that you are compliant with DOT drug and alcohol regulations. Upon successful completion of your recommended treatment and/or education you will have another face-to-face evaluation with your SAP. Following this evaluation you will be required to complete a return-to-duty drug or alcohol test.
SAP Referral Services (SRS) – a National Substance Abuse Professional Network
SRS is a leading national Substance Abuse Professional network. Over the years, they have worked with over 3,900 employers and nearly 20,000 employees in the return-to-duty process and have a directory of qualified SAPs in over 3,000 locations nationwide and Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam and Canada.
SRS can take the pain out of scheduling an appointment with a SAP. Trying to find a qualified SAP on your own often results in time wasted calling different clinicians who are not DOT qualified. When you sign up for SAP Referral Services’ FastTrack Enrollment Program you will typically be scheduled with a qualified SAP within 72 business hours.
