DOT, NRC and Non-Regulated/Company compliant substance abuse evaluations — SRS affiliate Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPS) Substance Abuse Experts (SAEs) and specialists perform face to face evaluations within your employees’ geographic area.
DWI/DUI Compliant Substance Abuse Evaluations — SRS’ affiliate substance abuse specialists meet all clinical licensing requirements, perform face to face evaluations and complete all state DWI/DUI required documentation.
Psychological Evaluations are performed by SRS’ affiliate psychologists who are state licensed and have clinical experience in assessing and diagnosing problems that do not have a physical origin. These problems can exist in several realms, for example, inappropriate behavior, inappropriate mood states and failure to perform up to expected standards, as in work performance.
Fitness-For-Duty Evaluations are performed by affiliate Occupational Medicine Physicians who have knowledge of work environments; give impartial opinions about fitness-for-duty or return-to work capabilities and are able to make specific recommendations for job accommodations.
Critical Incident Stress Management is facilitated by SRS affiliates who have been trained in a process that prevents or limits the development of post-traumatic stress in people exposed to critical incidents. Professionally conducted debriefings help people cope with and recover from an incident’s aftereffects. Optimally, CISM occurs within 24 hours to 72 hours of an incident.
Care Management is provided by SRS’ clinical specialists who have extensive experience in the process of monitoring an individual’s compliance to treatment and/or education which ultimately optimizes client outcomes and maintains cost containment.
DER Training consists of educating on the procedures of drug and alcohol testing; identifying and understanding the roles of those involved in the process, clarifying the differences in modal regulations and the employer’s responsibilities and can be performed via webinar or on-site.
Reasonable Suspicion Supervisory Training instructs supervisory staff to recognize potential employee alcohol or drug abuse by observing signs and symptoms of physical, behavioral, speech and performance patterns. DOT mandated for safety-sensitive positions, the training also educates the supervisor about managing employees with potential substance abuse issues. This training can be performed via webinar or on-site.
Compliance Reporting — SRS’ affiliate Substance Abuse Professional (SAPs) and Substance Abuse Experts (SAEs) monitor and report on all compliance issues as required by the DOT and NRC guidelines.
Documentation— SRS maintains a secure centralized filing system of all client case records for five (5) years as well as provider credentials as required by the DOT, NRC and State guidelines.
Follow-up Testing Recommendations— SRS’ affiliate Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs) and Substance Abuse Experts (SAEs) make recommendations for follow-up testing according to the requirements of the DOT and NRC.
Consultation with MROs, DERs and Licensees or other Entities SRS consults with MROs, DERs and Licensees or other Entities on SAP and SAE related issues.

SRS’ Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs) and Substance Abuse Experts (SAEs) are all trained and tested according to either the Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines or the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
