NRC Regulated Substance Abuse Expert Evaluations
SRS has an affiliate network of Substance Abuse Experts (SAE’s) that meet the requirements of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Regulation 10 CFR Part 26 and support the standards for the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of fitness-for-duty (FFD) programs.
Critical Incident Stress Management
Critical Incident Stress Management is facilitated by SRS affiliates who have been trained in a process that prevents or limits the development of post-traumatic stress in people exposed to critical incidents. Professionally conducted debriefings help people cope with and recover from an incident’s aftereffects.

Compliance Reporting
SRS’ affiliate Substance Abuse Professional & Experts (SAPs/SAEs) monitor and report on all compliance issues as required by the DOT and NRC guidelines.
Documentation
SRS maintains a secure electronic filing system of all client case records for five (5) years as well as provider credentials as required by the State and Federal guidelines.
Follow-up Testing Recommendations
SRS’ affiliate Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs) make recommendations for follow-up testing according to the requirements of the DOT and Substance Abuse Experts (SAE) follow the guidelines of the NRC for testing.
Consultation with MROs, DERs and Licensees or other Entities
SRS consults with MROs, DERs and Licensees or other Entities on SAP and SAE related issues.

SRS’ Substance Abuse Professionals and Experts (SAPs/SAEs) are all trained and tested according to either the Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines or the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s (NRC) regulations.
