In 2013, SRS moved their corporate headquarters to a suburb of Baltimore and is now located in Nottingham, MD. With a solid leadership team, SRS’ daily operations are overseen by VP of Clinical Services Karen Joyce, LCSW, SAP, SAE and VP of Operations Kim Magee.

Substance Abuse Evaluations
SRS maintains an extensive network of qualified providers in more than 3,000 locations nationwide for testing violations that originate from any of the DOT’s modes including FMCSA, FAA, FRA, FTA, USCG and PHMSA, the NRC, or a company’s internal drug and alcohol testing policy. Typically our providers are available within 72 business hours to assess clients (applicants/employees).
Psychological Evaluations
For pre-employment or fitness-for-duty evaluations that are required as a screening tool or to ascertain whether personal traits, disorders, or stress reactions are causing or contributing to problem behavior or substandard performance, SRS has qualified Psychologists in approximately 500 locations nationwide who offer scheduled and emergency assessment services.

Dawn Dregier, President and CEO
As the CEO of SRS, Dawn Dregier is responsible for running all facets of the business. Dawn has a proven executive management track record and over two decades of experience in driving sales growth within healthcare and recruitment businesses. Dawn founded SRS in 2003 as a pioneer and national leader in providing Substance Abuse Professional and Substance Abuse Expert evaluation services based on the belief that substance abuse within the workplace highly contributes to company risk, liability, and most of all, public safety. She is a leader in the industry and an expert on DOT regulations as it relates to Substance Abuse Professional Services. She, is client-focused and can always be relied upon to provide top notch service that meets all federal regulatory requirements. She has expanded the services offered to meet the changing needs of the industry. She works closely with companies in advising on their drug free workplace policies. Dawn is an active member of several industry organizations and has been published in numerous industry periodicals. She has received national and local recognition for her contributions to the industry which include being featured on a Fox News Special Report on Flaws in Drug and Alcohol Testing; being named one of the Fastest Growing Female Owned businesses in the State and being honored as a 2015 Bridging the Gap Awards finalist by the Greater Baltimore Committee.
Kim Magee, Vice President Operations
Kim has been a dedicated employee to SRS since its inception. After spending over 15 years in several executive level positions within the mortgage industry, Kim successfully transitioned her superior approach of organization and customer service to SRS in 2003. Kim maintains daily involvement in all aspects of SRS’ growth and development, by working closely with the President and executive support team. In Kim’ current role as V.P. of Operations she is responsible for assisting in formulating policies and strategic plans for future growth, and managing daily operations of personnel, purchasing, administration and other departments.
Karen Joyce, Vice President Clinical Services
Karen Joyce, LCSW-C, SAP joined SRS in 2006. She received her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland with an Employee Assistance Program specialization. She began her career in an Outpatient TBI Hospital setting providing Occupational Social Work services focusing on employment and substance abuse issues. After operating her own business for over eleven years, she joined SRS as a Care Coordinator. Karen is a clinical social worker, DOT qualified SAP, and has completed SAE training. As the Clinical Director and now in her current role, she oversees a staff of internal Care Coordinators and Interns, while managing the clinical services of SRS. Karen was drawn to this field by the ability to offer education towards public safety and substance abuse, while motivating and encouraging employee’s return to work.
